Willow River FarmsContinental Carbon supports community programs and Volunteerism





Willow River Farms offers a rustic family lifestyle for adults with developmental disabilities and related conditions. The Center Serving Persons with Mental Retardation, a private not-for-profit United Way agency, supports Willow River Farms. The 360 acre property lies west of Katy, Texas, providing home to 60 adults.

Recently, a group of volunteers from CCC's Houston office spent the day at Willow River Farms to help the residents prepare for their annual fund raiser. Participants assisted in the completion of tasks such as coloring scraps of cloth to be used in crafts and other activities.

The staff and residents at Willow River appreciated the volunteers' involvement and, likewise, the volunteers appreciated having opportunities to be involved with a unique community organization.
