Company Overview
Continental Carbon is recognized as a leader in the development and manufacture of furnace-grade carbon blacks used in tire, rubber and other applications. Carbon black is virtually pure elemental carbon in the form of near-spherical colloidal particles that are produced by incomplete combustion or thermal decomposition of gaseous or liquid hydrocarbons. Since 1936, Continental Carbon products have become a trusted product line in the industry under the Continex trademark.
