Instrumentation & Electrical Technician

Department: Maintenance
Reports To: Maintenance Superintendent
Location: Ponca City, Oklahoma

Certified Electronic Instrumentation Technician and proficient with PLC programming and Fisher-Rosemount Delta V and Provox digital control systems is preferred. Previous experience is preferred, but entry-level candidates will be considered.

Duties & Responsibilities
  •  Good mechanical skills; ability to read and understand electrical prints and P&IDs.
  •  Install, troubleshoot, clean, inspect, calibrate, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and distributive control equipment throughout the facility safely and professionally with minimal supervision.
  •  Prioritize work, schedule plans, and follow-up on directed assignments.
  •  Industrial forklift operation, man lifts, skid steer type loaders, and operation of other mobile equipment as needed.
  •  Ability to work in a fast paced environment and make quick, critical decisions.
  •  Must be able to climb stairs, ladders, bend, stoop, crouch, kneel, and be able to lift up to 40 lbs at a time on a daily basis.
  •  Must be able to work outside in all weather conditions.
  •  Must be able to work alone.
  •  Must have a valid driver’s license.
  •   Full-time – 40 hour work week. Overtime and callout hours are required as necessary to complete emergency repairs.
Qualifications

  •  HS diploma is required, associate or 4-year degree in related field preferred.
  •  Basic computer skills are required.
  •  Physical, hearing, and drug test are required. Background screen is required.
  •  Must successfully pass qualification tests.
