Continental Carbon provides the science & technology section as a public service
Today, it is difficult for any individual or business in the U.S. to go for a day without benefiting from products made possible through engineered carbon black. Items as diverse as tires, pharmaceutical products (syringe plungers, tubing), print cartridges for ink jet printers and even cosmetics (mascara, eye liner) benefit from the flexibility, strength and coloration furnished.
This product upon which we have come to rely is the product of significant degrees of science and technology. Unlike soot or other black substances associated with incomplete or improper combustion, it's carefully manufactured to exacting product specifications in a closed system.
While we all have expectations that the products using engineered carbon black will make our lives more productive and more fulfilling, CCC wants you to know the Company produces carbon black safely and in a way that preserves the quality of the environment.
