Employees and their dependents may be eligible to participate in life, medical, dental and long-term disability insurance. Costs for these insurance plans are dependent on the coverage elected by the employee. An HMO may be available in your area.
Employees may pay or get reimbursement for eligible insurance premiums, dependent care expenses and un-reimbursed medical expenses with pre-tax payroll deductions.
Continental Carbon presently has a 401(K) plan to enable employees to save part of their earnings, tax deferred, for retirement. The benefits you receive from the Plan will depend in part on employee contributions. Each year the Company plans to match a percentage of the amount individuals contribute to the Plan. Consistent savings to the 401(K) should allow employees to have a secure income at retirement. Current employees are eligible to contribute to the 401(K) Plan immediately after their hire date, with an entry the first day of each month. Employer matching contributions are 100% vested in these contributions when made.
Continental Carbon encourages employees to continue their education through a reimbursement program that provides financial assistance.
Continental Carbon's employee assistance program is a service designed to help with prompt professional counseling for a wide range of personal problems with confidentiality carefully guarded.
