Group Insurance Plans
Employees and their dependents may be eligible to participate in life, medical, dental and long-term disability insurance. Costs for these insurance plans is dependent on the coverage elected by the employee. An HMO may be available in your area.
Pre-Tax Benefit Cost Coverage
Employees may pay or get reimbursement for eligible insurance premiums, dependent care expenses and un-reimbursed medical expenses with pre-tax payroll deductions.
401K
Continental Carbon presently has a 401(k) plan to enable employees to save part of their earnings, tax deferred, for retirement. The benefits you receive from the Plan will depend in part on employee contributions. Each year the Company plans to match a percentage of the amount individuals contribute to the Plan. Consistent savings to the 401(k) should allow employees to have a secure income at retirement. Employees are eligible to contribute to the 401(k) Plan the first of the month following 3 months of continuous employment. There is a three-year vestment period.
Educational Assistance Program
Continental Carbon encourages employees to continue their education through a reimbursement program that provides financial assistance.
